Any One Book

Welcome to Any One Thing’s book club. Every month I read a book and post the review on here and of course you are welcomed to read along. After all one of the best things about books is discussing it with people afterwards.

The book to be read is announced on the third of each month and I will post a review as soon as I am done, so keep an eye out.

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin

Good idea. I’ll keep my eye out form the next pick, maybe join in…

Historical fiction (Temeraire) can be hit or miss with me. Enjoyed Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, but haven’t liked any Harry Turtledove…

Loved The Killer Angels, which set me down a path of Amercian Civil War research that I’m still on….

😀 thank you. I don’t usually read historical fiction much but this seems a unique take on the events.

I’m ashamed to admit I haven’t heard of those before, I’ll defintiely look them up!
