Heather Mills might get involved with the Leveson inquiry. Well, ladies and gentlemen, prepare yourselves for a testimonial that’s nothing but passionate bullshit.
I remember seeing her on GMTV a few years ago and she was sitting on the edge of the sofa practically yelling at the hosts while defaming the entire journalistic profession. Ok, so it might not be the most popular and it might not be the cleanest but at least the majority of journalists aren’t digging for gold in the pockets of a Beatle.
As far as I’m concerned anything that comes from her mouth needs to be taken with a pinch of salt or not taken at all. Considering, as a result for his, journalists are becoming rather untrustworthy to the public, maybe even seen as liars I believe that there is a bit of hypocrisy in bringing her to the trial.
In the past she has made clear her stance on the media, she hates it. So I doubt very much that she’ll pop into the room, sit behind the table and speak without being clouded by emotion. She won’t speak fairly, she’ll be pretty opinionated.
To be honest I’m surprised she hasn’t turned up sooner and all I have left to say is that with her potential appearance I’ve lost interest in the inquiry. I think if they start allowing any old person in they’ll lose credibility as swiftly as the News of the World.
